Back in January, I shared some photos with you from a shoot I did for Jordana Paige, but I kept a little secret from you. There was one handbag, one series of shots, missing from that post. I'd been sworn to secrecy until its release but I'm happy to say the latest version of the Cora bag is finally here - in lovely lavender, perfect for spring!
I'm super excited to share these with you because, not only is Cora one of my personal fave's of Jordana Paige's handbags (it's the one with the front pocket that unzips and becomes a clutch - two bags in one!), but the lavender version is also my favorite color. It was a lot of fun shooting these photos knowing they were top secret and wouldn't be released for a few months, too. We got super lucky finding a neighborhood market that just happened to have tulips, a signature of spring, on display out front. I felt a little bad for our model, Loni, though. We happened to do this portion of the shoot late in the afternoon on a super warm September day - it was easily in the 80s, which is crazy warm for San Francisco - and she had to walk around in a trench coat "pretending" it was a cool April spring day! She definitely made it work, though. So much so that a few high school boys stopped and stood on the corner to watch for a bit before one of them asked me, "Is she a model? She's really pretty!"
