Autumn in New York

Brooklyn BridgeAn utterly tragic and terrible thought struck me over the weekend: I never shared my photos from my November trip to New York!  I blame the morning sickness I was silently suffering through at the time.  It made it practically impossible to do anything other than the bare minimum to keep my business going, including blogging and editing personal photos.  And these photos are definitely worth sharing, if I do say so myself.  The trees in Central Park were breathtaking, swaying in the autumn breeze and saturated with colors painters only dream of capturing with their palettes.  Besides springtime in Paris, autumn in New York is the best season/city pairing there is!

First, a little glimpse at Eataly.  I was too busy eating my way through multiple scoops of gelato to take a lot of photos, but I did manage to snap a few.

Most of my NYC trip was filled with photo shoots, waiting in line for tickets to shows, and spending time with my bestie, but I spent my last full day in the city on my own, visiting the Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park.  It was my first time seeing the Brooklyn Bridge, despite nearly a dozen previous trips to New York, and to say I was obsessed with this marvel of modern engineering might be a bit of an understatement...

Ah, there it is!  Autumn in New York!

I'm already daydreaming about my next trip to the city that never sleeps.  I think a springtime visit is in order next time around!

  1. Oooh, so pretty. I've only visited New York in the spring and summer . . . definitely think I'm missing out! And I'm always happy to see a little autumn joy spread beyond fall itself. :)

  3. Gorgeous photos, as always! I haven't been to NYC in (I can't believe it) over 10 years but have been wanting to return. Might need to make a trip mandatory come Fall though after seeing these moments you captured.

  4. It's definitely worth the trip! This was just a little bit of what I could capture, too. The trees everywhere were stunning that time of year. :)

  5. I somehow managed to go at just the right time. The week after I left, they had a massive storm front that basically blew all the remaining leaves off the trees!
