Sunday Reading

sunday reading link list on twentieth street

Even though wedding season is technically over - no more weddings to shoot until 2015! - there's still tons of editing, family sessions, and engagement sessions on the calendar.  It's going to be a busy couple of weeks before the holidays but, hey, at least I have the kind of job that doesn't really feel like work. :)

Did you do anything exciting this weekend?  Please let me live vicariously through you...

This road trip through Montana makes me want to pack up our camping gear and hit the road, too.

Hold on, you wanna make my what smell like peaches??  Get over yourself, tech guys.

Millions of ladybugs converging in the Oakland redwoods?  Time for a hike!

A glimpse at Sandy Powell's stunning costumes for the upcoming Cinderella movie.

I've been reading a lot of not-good stuff about Uber lately and it's giving me second thoughts about using the service.  What do you think?

Some gluten-free baking mistakes to avoid this holiday season.

Speaking of gluten-free, I need these cheesy breadsticks in my life asap.

I don't know if I could keep my cool the way this mom did if someone ever said something like this to me...

Interesting thoughts on Obama's recent executive action.

A photographic review of the American heartland.

My shelter, Northern California Family Dog Rescue, made it to the Top 7 finalists for SF's Favorite Charities.  If you have a few extra minutes, please vote!  There's no limit on the number of times you can vote so turn on your favorite tv show and get ready to hit refresh. :)

And in case you missed it...

Andrea & Matt's Alamo Square engagement session was featured this week, along with a sneak peek of their Berkeley wedding.

And some pretty pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge for this week's Twosday theme - Lines.

  1. The photos from the heartland were really interesting, as was the interview. I love projects like that -- so fascinating. Hope you're having a great weekend! We're laying low and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning in preparation of Thanksgiving. Family arrives on Wednesday and we need to whip this place into shape! :)

  2. Is it just me or do the stepsisters look fabulous in Cinderella?

Tell me more.
