Recovering

So ... last week.  What a week, huh?  Things were a bit silent around here but I promise I have a good excuse.  I was puking my guts out for most of the week!  I don't know if it was a stomach flu or food poisoning or what but solid food refused to stay put and I barely had the energy to walk from the bed to the couch.  Things made a turn for the better by Friday, though, and I was recovered enough to shoot an awesome wedding Saturday but, sheesh, that nonsense really wiped me out.  Luckily I had these two goofballs around to keep me company.

So, how was your week?

  2. I was having a hard time functioning last week, too, and also very sick! Eek. Glad you're feeling better and were able to shoot the wedding . . . I'm sure that was very stressful!

  6. ugh that's awful, good that you were better in time for the wedding! M & G are so cute. You make me wnt to get a guinea pig,but I'm fairly certain I'll be allergic to them, like I am with most mammals...haha.

  8. I am feeling much better now. I chowed down on some Halloween candy yesterday and justified it by telling myself "I need to gain back the five pounds I lost last week." Definitely feeling better. :)

  9. I was so worried I'd be getting sick behind a bush during the ceremony or something but it all worked out okay! And they really are the best little pets but probably not for someone who's allergic! :(

  10. They were good little guinea pig nurses. :) At one point, I fell asleep while they were out playing and they just cuddled up in their little beds by the couch until I woke up and put them back in the cage. And the best part - no potty accidents!

  11. If the endless Halloween candy-eating yesterday is any indication, I'm back at 100%. :)

  12. Def not fun - I basically lived off applesauce and milk and lost 5 lbs in 4 days. :( But I'm making up for it this week with lots of Halloween yumminess!

  14. Yeah, not knowing if I'd be sick the day of definitely added to the stress of the week but it all worked out okay. Sorry to hear you've been sick too! No bueno. :( I hope you're feeling better soon!

  16. They're really smart little animals. Molly was house-trained within a week! She even knows to come nibble on my ankle when she's ready to go back in her cage. Gia took a little longer to figure things out but she caught on eventually. :)
