Sunday Reading

sunday reading link list twentieth street

The week after vacation is always a stressful one. I never quite feel as caught up as I want to be by the time the weekend comes along. This week's Sunday Reading will be a nice little break from today's morning consultations and afternoon editing marathons. Hope you're enjoying the last official day of summer!

David Sedaris and mood lighting. I'm definitely on the same page. Overhead lights are the worst.

The Mindy Project is easily one of my favorite comedies on TV because it's funny, but apparently it's pretty intellectual as well. In a hot striptease kinda way ...

Tomorrow is officially the beginning of fall. Gluten free pumpkin biscotti to celebrate!

Good to see I'm not the only one encountering adults misbehaving these days.

Seven steps to leading a Bill Murray life. Can I also have the decades-long film career, too, please?

I definitely fall in the ambivalent camp.

On the flip side, my sister is expecting her first baby next March, so I'm a little fascinated by birth stories from around the world right now.

The most important word every entrepreneur should know.

I'm also fascinated by meals from around the world. Dried Afghanistan yak milk anyone?

If you're too busy for yoga, that may be exactly the right time to make time for it. How's that for a Sunday morning revelation?

And in case you missed it...

This week's Twosday featured photos of A Special Someone

The jerk in the Trader Joe's parking lot.

What's meant to be will always find a way.

It's always our self we find in the sea.
