Sunday Reading

"creative photography"

I've been playing with shooting through things like prisms and other fun glass to create interesting in-camera effects.  Now to figure out how I want to work these tools into wedding day shoots...

While I'm thinking about that, here's some web love to occupy your Sunday morning.

I wonder if this Buddha tree was the inspiration for the heart trees in Game of Thrones...

The slow Italian lifestyle sounds like it's my kind of thing.

Have you ever heard of the Teddy Girls?  They were the first "girl gang" and they sound kind of awesome...

If you're visiting SF, I highly recommend public transit.  Parking sucks.

Here's what happens when a supermodel violates your copyright.

An entire city freezes for one minute to honor those lost during WWII.  Beautiful.

SPF and your wedding day photos.  If you're still figuring out your wedding day makeup sitch, you might want to read this.

How am I just discovering Notorious RBG?

If CSA has taught me anything, it's that even the ugly mutant produce can be delicious.  Supermarkets are finally catching on, too...

Speaking of food, I think I've found my easy lunch for the week.

And dessert, too.

We'll add this cutie in, too, just to make it an even dozen. :)

Oh, yeah!  In case you missed it -

Christina & Lex's destination wedding in Cancun was featured on Melissa Hearts Weddings this week and we shared lovely Architecture photos for the Twosday link up.  (Upcoming theme: Birds' Eye View)

  1. Ben Sasso shoots through old pieces of glass. It can give a really nice softening effect - almost like tilt shift.
