Happy Weekend & Some Web Love

"blooms at piedmont community hall"

Happy Friday lovelies!  We've been having the most amazing summer-like weather this week but I'm pretty sure it'll be coming to an end soon.  San Francisco doesn't have real seasons like everywhere else in North America.  Instead, we get a week or two here and there of "summer" scattered throughout the year and the remaining months waffle between spring and fall.  So this week was one of our mini-summers and it has been fan-freakin'-tastic.  I slipped out for a coffee date earlier this week and actually got sweaty while sitting outside (this is huge in SF, people), then enjoyed the sunshine and fresh blooms while on a site visit for an upcoming wedding.  With an outdoors elopement this afternoon and another lovely wedding tomorrow, I'm definitely taking full advantage of the good weather for as long as I can.  After all, it's only a matter of time before the temperatures drop and the fog rolls in, just in time for 'real' summer.

Nicole's new perspective on health and wellness gave me something to think about.

It's been TEN YEARS since Mean Girls came out??  Thank god it gave us feminist lessons to last a lifetime.

Hey, I can be creative and be good at math, too, dang it!  Otherwise, yes, to everything on this list.

Are pre-Photoshop Pin Up paintings the latest boudoir inspiration?  (They are actually really cool!)

Baby Seal bonds with photographer so Mama Seal protects photographer from looming danger.  Animals never cease to amaze me.

This guy describes law firm life perfectly.

I'd like to think I'm Number 12 but really, I'm just there for the free samples.

And in case you missed it earlier this week, I shared my thoughts on shooting boudoir and an awesome engagement session/behind-the-scenes tour of AT&T Park!

Happy weekend!

  1. Those pin-up photos are so interesting! Seriously - he really altered the women and it's funny to see how staged the real photographs were. Wish I lived in CA so I could do a boudoir session with you for my hubs!

  2. Beautiful pictures! I never thought it was possible to feel so warm in San Francisco like I did this week.

  3. I can't believe you guys have had such awesome weather in SF... makes me miss that city that much more. Enjoy the sun!

Tell me more.
