This wasn't just an engagement session for Tiffany & Christian, it was a reunion of sorts. Though both are currently living on the East Coast, the two have a bit of distance between them. Christian is honoring our country by serving in the military, while Tiffany is a few states away earning her nursing degree. The holidays have always been a special time of year for the couple. They met in college, at a swing dancing event, and became "officially" boyfriend/girlfriend just a few months later during the holidays. A few years after that, with the aid of golden twinkle lights, a little bit of snow, and a lot of romance, Christian asked Tiffany to spend the rest of her life with him, during the holidays. And just a few months ago, the couple brought their families together to meet for the first time, during the holidays.
So, just after New Year's and before the two headed back to the other side of the country, we got together and headed to the Palace of Fine Arts for a lovely session and a chance to give the two some much-needed alone time (or, at least as "alone" as it can be out in a public place with a photographer following you around!). I don't think Tiffany could've stopped smiling during our session, even if she wanted to! Just talking about the wedding plans and the two of them finally being joined for life brought a sweet rosy glow to her cheeks. And Christian, well, he's just as smitten with his beautiful bride-to-be. Watching the two of them together even made me feel a little giddy inside. Happiness like this is infectious.
