The two held each other close, snuggled tightly against the crisp November chill, and soon learned that the session that made them so nervous just a short while ago wasn't truly about "getting perfect photos" after all; it was about just being together. Holding each other, whispering to each other, soaking each other in and being fully present for one another. Just for a little while. Just for couple of hours, before the stresses and worries of normal day-to-day life come creeping back in and the never-ending list of To-Do's reclaims their attention. For just a little while -one hundred and twenty fleeting minutes to be exact- the only thing either of them needed to focus on was each other. Nothing else. Because nothing else mattered. Nothing else was important. Just them, Jamie and Ben, and their love for each other. Because in the end, isn't that all that really matters anyway?
We took a short break for a wardrobe change before heading to our second location, a nearby winery. Ben used the time to pick the season's last veggies from their garden and, of course, sweet Stella was not far behind. Lucky me got to take a whole baggie full of freshly picked tomatoes, peppers, and other goodies home at the end of the evening.
