Oh, how I love these two. I know I say that about all my clients (because my clients are pretty awesome & loveable!) but Anya & Jeremy are truly two of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful people I've ever met, and all those qualities were out in full force on their wedding day. Even a teeny-tiny mishap in the form of a car accident on the way to the ceremony (don't worry, everyone was okay) couldn't overshadow all the joy and love on display that day. From the personalized, homemade favors to the vintage family wedding photos to the heirloom jewelry adorning Anya, every detail of the day represented something special & meaningful to the couple and their loved ones. They made the wedding day more than just a celebration of their relationship, it was an expression of gratitude to their community as well, and I couldn't be more grateful that they invited me to capture it.
sweet engagement story inspired by the movie Up. I have no doubt they'll be adding lots more adventures that little book of theirs. :)
The couple made custom favors for each of their guests. The ladies received a mason jar filled with homemade brownie mix (just add eggs and butter!) and the men received a custom homemade blend of Anya & Jeremy's favorite Ethiopian spices. Lucky me got to take home a jar of brownie mix at the end of the night and those brownies were every bit as delicious as Anya promised.

Special super big thank you to Mindy, my awesome second shooter for the day!
