Friday Finds | Heritage 1956

I found another sweet Etsy shop to share with you this gorgeous Friday.  Heritage 1956 features lovely dishes and decorative housewares with a mid-century flare.  Being the avid hunter that he is, I'm sure The Husband would have no objection to adding deer antlers in our home decor, and all those lovely kitchen bits are just dying to be used to serve up an afternoon tea or Sunday brunch.

Do you guys have any big plans for the weekend?  Friend time and football time is all we have on the calendar and I am very much looking forward to it.  Wedding season kicks off next month for me so I don't have too many more weekends where I can relish in the down time.  I plan to take full advantage!

Happy Weekend!

  1. Love these pieces! And have an awesome weekend. Husband and I are actually going to a play (! how cultured of us. I feel like a real grown-up!) tomorrow, and then heading to my parents' house for a Super Bowl celebration (complete with crab legs . . . it is Maryland, after all) on Sunday. Hope it's a great one for you!

And by the way, I'm actually coming to San Francisco/Napa to shoot the wedding of a friend of a friend in May . . . am super excited/nervous and couldn't help but think of you and your lovely work. Will definitely be trying to polish my skills and get myself together in the coming months! I want to do a fantastic job, but I'm a little scared. I'm guessing I should start really pouring over wedding photography sites for ideas/inspiration? I'm typically a landscape/portrait/food photographer, and this event is on a whole different level. I feel competent and eager, but I guess I'm not sure where to start in terms of making sure my skills are up to par.

This was super ramble-y . . . I'm sorry! Just meandering thoughts on a Friday afternoon!

  2. How exciting for you!! When is the wedding? I'm was super nervous before I shot my first one! If you want to any tips or have any questions, you are more than welcome to email me any time. :)
