Friday's Fancies | Monochrome

Happy Friday, y'all!!  I am super excited for this weekend.  I have lots of work to do, but no weddings to shoot, which means I can enjoy some of the many free things going on around San Francisco this weekend!  We're planning on checking out the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival tomorrow with a few friends.  Not gonna lie - a lot of the bands are ones I've never heard of before.  But there are a few that I am a fan of (like The Lumineers) so I'm looking forward to hearing them live.

The Blue Angels are also doing an air show tomorrow.  I heard/saw a lot of fly-overs yesterday and today but the big show tomorrow is happening at the same time as the concert so we'll probably skip that.

And if that weren't enough events for one weekend, there's also a Cheeses of France Pop-Up Cafe with lots of free samples of cheese and live demonstrations happening tomorrow, too!  If you're in San Francisco, there's no shortage of fun, free things to do, that's for sure.  I wonder if anyone at City Hall thought, "Hmm... maybe we should schedule one of these for a different weekend?"

It's supposed to be in the mid-60s for all these fabulous free events, so my monochrome Friday's Fancies outfit might be a tad too warm but I love it and would totally wear it anyway.  If only I had $1600 (and no moral issues) to blow on that lambskin leather jacket...

What do you have planned for the weekend?

Happy Weekend!!!

  1. Oh we are going to the bluegrass festival as well if the air show ends somewhat early!

I love that sweater! So pretty and cozy!

  2. I would wear that outfit! I love that jacket too... oh why doesn't money just grow on trees already? (:

I love the Blue Angels.... but the Blue Angels, Bluegrass, and cheese all in the same weekend. That sounds like a fun time.

  3. Love that look. So classic with the black!

  4. Cheeses of France!? Lucky duck - I hope you had fun this weekend
