Weekend Snippets {vol. 7}

Happy Monday lovelies!  Did you all have a nice weekend?  We spent our time with friends and family, ate a lot (and I mean, a lot), and enjoyed some unusually nice weather.  I know it may sound boring but trust me - it was mahvelous dahling.

Fresh heirloom tomatoes from the farmer's market became fresh Caprese salad (just add buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil)!

A lovely Sunday afternoon in the city

  6. Did you know buffalo mozzarella comes from the milk of water buffalo? I am going to start making cheese, and this is one of the tidbits I recently learned. For some reason, I never made that connection. I thought it was maybe a geographic reference or something. Am I just dense? Does everyone on earth know that the milk comes from buffalo?
